Despite denials in official quarters that Ebelechukwu, the wife of the Governor of Anambra state Willi Obaino slapped the Oby, the better of Nkem Okeke the Deputy Governor of the state at a social function, a recent twist just lend a bit of credence to the allegation.

Uche Ekwunife a Federal lawmaker and former gubernatorial aspirant is credited with making a categorical statement that takes away points from the denials.

According to information sourced from online platform Elombah, the female politician that defected from the All Progressive Grand Alliance to the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the build up to the gubernatorial election she lost out of specifically said

‘Some people tried to blame me over the unfortunate attack on me by the wife of Anambra state Governor, Ebele Obiano. Thank God the slapping saga has vindicated me. By now you should know who has always been the aggressor’

The statement which pulls plug on moves dispell growing talks about the latest slapping episode regarding Mrs Obaino, also made reference to the explosive encounter between the governor’s wife and the federal law maker.
