Senator Ajayi Boroffice, Rotimi Akeredolu Wrestle For Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s Affection To Get Ondo APC Guber Ticket

Information filtering in revealed that party men Senator Ajayi Boroface and Rotimi Akeredolu are at odds.

And the reason for this development is attributed to their ambitions to become the next governor of Ondo state.

Insiders disclosed they have become leading aspirants within their party.

The Ondo state gubernatorial election is scheduled for the first week of November 2016.

Insiders revealed both aspirants are intensely lobbying powerful politician, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to achieve their aim.

The national leader of the APC is widely adjudged as a major decision maker in affairs of the party in the southwest.

He is believed to be keenly interested in the Ondo gubernatorial election as part of attempts to bring the social, economic and political development of the region within the fold of a single political party.

”Both Boroffice and Akeredolu assiduously suing for the affection of Asiwaju Tinubu to get the party ticket” a source stated.

Revelations here and there revealed Boroffice who crossed over from rival People’s Democrat Party is leaning heavily on support from fellow Senator Remi Tinubu to pip Akeredolu to the deal.

Senator Remi Tinubu is the wife of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Backers of Boroffice alleged she appears to favour their principal’s emergence as Ondo APC gubernatorial candidate.
