A military police body guard attached to the Presidential Villa and suspected to have links with terror group Boko Haram has been arrested.

The Department of State Security Service, DSS, recently arrested Corporal Hassan Aminu at his duty post in Abuja at the Villa after it emerged that he allegedly has a link with the dreaded Islamic sect.
Sources said Corporal Aminu has a twin brother, Hussein, who was earlier arrested in Kogi State over links to terror attacks perpetrated by Boko Haram members.

It was said that during interrogation, Hussein implicated Corporal Aminu in his confessional statement.

In a related development, a Boko Haram suicide bomber on Thursday night in neighbouring Cameroon killed 11 people in Djakana near Nigerian border.

Reports said most of the victims were members of a local vigilante group tasked with hunting down Boko Haram fighters, and were watching a video in a room when the suicide bomber entered, and blew himself up, killing seven people instantly, including himself.
