I am deeply saddened by the floods that have affected 9 LGAs in Kogi State. As the displaced families grapple with this disaster, my prayers are with the affected communities — especially those who have lost loved ones to these floods.
I appeal to the federal and state governments to quickly come to the aid of all the affected communities. I pray that the Almighty provides succour to all the families and communities that have been affected and grant the departed a place in Al Jannah Firdaus. Ameen.
