Residents of Oke-Osa in Ado-Odo Local Government Area of Ogun State have described the new lifestyle of singer Habeeb Okikiola, famously known as Portable.

“You won’t even know that he is there,” say those who have had recent encounters with the singer, who once thrived on controversies.

Multiple sources report that “he has become very gentle—no fights, no unguarded utterances, or brawls since his case with the Ogun State government started.”

The singer is currently facing prosecution on charges of obstruction and assault against agents of the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, along with nine others.

First arraigned on February 20, 2025, Portable is presently out on bail.

“Since he was granted bail, he has adopted a radically different lifestyle that makes him very relatable and easy to deal with,” sources say.

The singer, who is battling a five-count charge along with individuals described as his workers, got into trouble for allegedly assaulting town planning officials who came to serve notices on his ongoing construction project and his popular Odogwu Bar for various infractions.
