‘Redeemed’s New Auditorium Is The Biggest In The World, Sits 12m’ Church Workers Assert
Pastor Deji West,a top level church worker at Redeemed Christian Church of God asserts that the new auditorium of the ministry situated in Shimawa Ogun state is ‘the biggest auditorium’ in the world.
And the preacher went on to equally state that the auditorium has the capacity to sit all of 12million congregation at a go.
Pastor West specifically stated that ‘The current structure we have is the biggest auditorium in the world because it will take about 12 million people at a time’
He was however not forth coming on the budget for the big project explaining ‘In terms of naira and kobo of what it costs, I don’t have

The member of the church’s traffic committee was however willing to share capacity of the mega project claiming the 3 kilometres by 3 km arena would take no fewer than 12 million congregants at a time.
According to information sourced on news platform, Punch the pastor made the revelation on Wednesday July 15 2015 during briefing on the church’s 63rd annual convention.
Themed ‘ The All Sufficient God’ the yearly spiritual gathering is scheduled for August 3 to 9 2015
The convention, which is themed, ‘The All Sufficient God’, will hold from Monday August 3 to Sunday August 9, 2015.
Further revelations made at the occasion revealed adequate preparation being put in place to safe guard the lives and properties of attendees- as well as that of all branches of the ministry.
According to information credited to Pastor Segu Adegbiji, the Head of Media and Public Relations of the church ‘We are working on the security of our churches.’
The reference to general security is in relation to suicide bomber attack carried out by insurgent group Boko Haram against the church in Yobe State.
Six people lost their lives in the tragic incident.
Adegbiji equally disclosed that the Redeemed Church has commenced a spiritual battle against Boko Haram, maintaining ‘We prayed against Ebola, that it should get out of this country and whether you believe it or not, God answered our prayers and it left. Boko Haram is a monster and it will be defeated this year.’
At the briefing which held at the Redemption camp, Mrs. Margret Boluwakole the head of the church international office absolved the ministry off the dreaded traffic jam that decorates the Lagos Ibadan Express Way during the convention as a result of large influx of faithful from far and near.
The Church’s international office head asserted ‘Whenever there is traffic on the road, people always blame us. We wish to state that it is the poor state of the road that is causing traffic jam. We don’t hold congress on the road…… In fact, we sometimes repair the road at the expense of the church and we don’t collect money from anybody. People should stop blaming the church’
