Real Reason Amosun Served Pat Utomi “Cold Breakfast”

On Sunday, August 18, 2024, former Governor Ibikunle Amosun dealt out a blistering response to allegations from popular academic and politician Patrick Okedinachi Utomi – famously known as Pat Utomi.

Amosun’s response which turned the table on Utomi has been dubbed a “cold breakfast”.

Serving someone “breakfast”is a street slang for “heartbreak” or “consequence” of getting caught on the other side of things.

“That response to Utomi was typical SIA (Senator Ibikunle Amosun), he goes all out to defend his conviction. Once he believes in something, he doesn’t spare efforts to see it through” those who should know provide insight into the hammer reply the former Senator from Ogun Central gave to Utomi.

“He goes the extra-mile to protect his image when he knows there is an intentional effort to paint him black.”an insider disclosed.

In an attempt to ride on the waves of public interest generated by the seizure of the nation’s presidential jets in France over a failed contract between the Ogun state government and Chinese company, Zhongfu International Investment FXE – Utomi had alleged his contract was unilaterally canceled by Amosun , when the latter was Governor of Ogun state.

Just like he did with the claims by Zhongfu International Investment FXE, Amosun went all out to tackle Utomi’s claims, making counter accusations that glare the  professor of political economy and management expert in different light.
