Insiders have revealed the behind the scene of a popular housemate, Erica’s disqualification from this year’s edition of the famous reality show Big Brother Naija (BBNaija).

Erica was ousted for violating different rules of the house including openly soliciting for votes against another housemate and verbal assault.

Insiders disclosed that she ‘’had such a massive meltdown’’ and ‘’producers had to call for help’’ when she was disqualified.

Providing the details, including why the popular housemate doesn’t need the Gofundme initiative by fans which recorded $15,000 within 24(Twenty Four) hours, one of the original queens of journalism Moji Danisa wrote

”She is clearly disturbed. That she apologized before leaving the house shows a clearly conflicted personality. Learned she had such a massive melt down, producers had to call for help, allegedly.

From her story, her mum was one of those single mothers who dished out more discipline than love. Tough love she called it. Though named after her father, she only met him once in her life, just three years ago. He did not come back, at least physically.

While almost all young women of today share best friend status with their mums, Erica had no such luxury. She was brought up by a mother who believed she had to be sexless to remain decent and finish her education.

‘’ While in her state of inebriation, addressed herself as a mistake, a product of her parent’s mistake.

Much as I do not support what went down on Saturday night, much as I do not support her conduct in the house over the weeks, my heart broke into a thousand pieces when she was disqualified. I began to retrace her story and realized that she had hidden anger, and rejection led her into seeking attention of all kinds, including male attention.

‘’She may have been flattered by the attention showered by the billionaire’s son which rather than enhance her game, brought to surface, all her insecurities. Her rebellion may be a loud message to her parents, rightly or wrongly.

Please, let’s support and help Erica, she is a product of our skewed society where discipline, abuse and rejection are accepted as culture. Its not all Erica’s fault.

Plus, Erica doesn’t need a Gofundme her fans have set up, she is by no means poor and has enough talent to see her through. What she needs is love and the professional psychological intervention. I pray she gets it.’’
