Presidential Aide Speaks On Finance Minister’s “Resignation”

Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital and New Media, Bashir Ahmad has reacted to the latest speculation about Finance Minister Zainab Shamsuna Ahmad.

Claims here and there alleged that Ahmad who is the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning has resigned from her appointment.

But Presidential aide Bashir Ahmad has faulted these stories.

“There is a rumour going around that Honorable Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmad has resigned.

“The rumour is completely not true, one of the minister’s closest aides told me on phone,”
