Presidential Aide, Kingley Kuku Abandons Youth Shot By Aide To Treat Self At Home!
Kingsley Kuku, Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan is in the eye of a growing storm.
He is accused of an act his accusers tagged ‘un becoming of a leader’
The popular nigerian is alleged to have abandoned a kins man, reportedly shot by one of his aides, to his fate.
Sources claim Edolor Bouepre, 26 a member of the Ijaw Youths Council, an association Kuku is a leader in- lay abandoned at home, after suffering a shot to the stomach in attempts by aides of the Presidential Adviser to protect their principal.
The incident reportedly occurred during a town hall meeting where Mr Kuku was accused of attempting to smuggle a controversial clause into the constitution of the IYC to discredit anti- president Jonathan’s members from elections into the national council of the Ijaw Youths Council.
Insiders confirmed the association is being positioned by some members- including Kuku- to back President Jonathan’s re election move in 2015.
Sources claimed resistance to pro Jonathan’s members antics at the IYC’s meeting resulted in the fracas that snowballed into the alleged shot to Bouepre’s stomach, by a soldier attached to Mr Kuku.
The incident transpired on May 4 2013- at the Ijaw House,Bayelsa state.
Though the Presidential Adviser on Niger Delta and Ijaw leader from Ondo state reportedly bankrolled the meeting that ended on a sour- he was said to have rebuffed all moves to aid the payment of the Victim’s medical bills.
Sources claimed Bouepre was rushed to Federal Medical Centre, but was forced to return home due to inability to secure ‘a bed space’ due to lack of fund.
‘Since the incident Kuku as refused to lend a helping hand, even as just a concerned party in position to lend a helping hand to a kinsman!’ a source claimed.
The reason for this ‘harsh’ attitude to the plight of a kinsman and follower in the same ethnic association by Kuku is unclear at present
