President Buhari Will Not Travel To Country Home In Daura To Celebrate Eid-El- Fitri

President Muhammadu Buhari will not be travelling to his country home in Daura, Katsina State to celebrate Eid-El-fitri.

Eid-El-Fitri is the popular celebration that ends the Ramadan fasting period.

According to presidential spokesperson Garab Shehu the President and his family will observe the celebration of Eid-El-Fitri at the capital in Abuja.

“The President, first family, his personal aides, members of cabinet, and service chiefs who choose to remain in Abuja will congregate in full compliance with COVID-19 protocols at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa to observe the Eid prayers,”  Garba Shehu stated.

The statement issued by the presidential aide disclosed that urges limited celebration because of the need to observe Covid-19 protocols.
