The Anambra state gubernatorial election is underway.

The much-anticipated election starts in a manner that invalidates popular predictions.

It didn’t start with the widely predicted violence.

And voters are coming out more than expected.

News monitored by societynow.ng – particularly on the television station, TVC News – revealed that the situation across the state remains calm as of 9.30 a.m.

The casting of votes which was supposed to start at 8. a.m is delayed due to a “logistics problem”. At press time.

Over 2.5million voters are expected to determine who succeeds Governor Willie Obaino.
