Checks revealed that Mary Akpobome, the powerful Heritage Bank Director is yet to resume duty.

Akpobome who was one of the major power brokers in the bank was asked to “vacate” her duties to go recoup loans she facilitated for customers.

The loans were described as huge and helped her assume the position of “power” within the financial institution before things “soured” for her.

The decision was part of “vital” measures to recoup loans in bid to shore up funds to sustain operation.

She was actually suspended as resulted of “internal intrigues” reports here and there revealed, but the bank claims otherwise in an official statement.

But whichever version of the “truth” is correct, insiders confirm, Akpobome “vacated her duties” and is yet to officially return to work weeks after the development came to be.
