Femi Adesina, one of the spokesperson of President Muhammadu Buhari has aired his thoughts on where the successor of his principal should come from.

Reacting to clams by elder state man Edwin Clark that it is the turn of the South East to produce a President, Adesina posted on social media

‘’No one is stopping, can stop, any region from ‘producing’ a President and no one can put a gun on the electorates to vote for the ‘product’. Again alliances are formed, you reach out, POWER isn’t jolof rice.

Power wont be presented to any region on a platter of gold, you cant spend years calling out other region as the ‘enemy’ and expect them to just PLESS their hand on your ‘product’ just because it is your turn. The electoral act does not BAN any region from running. LEARN POLITICS.

Pa Edwin Clark should know better that this is not the time to issue ultimatums to other regions, it is time to start building coalitions, identify his South East candidate to make sure it is the best from the South East so if SW presents a bad candidate he/she will be rejected.’’
