Police Grills Coza Pastor Fatoyinbo Over Alleged Rape Scandal

Biodun Fatoyinbo, the Senior Pastor at Christian ministry Commonwealth of Zion was a guest of the Nigerian Police earlier today.

Details available revealed that Fatoyinbo was interrogated by the Police over allegations of rape made against him by former church member Busola, the wife of Timi Dakolo.

Busola alleged in an interview that Fatoyinbo raped her 16years ago.

The accusation –and attendant public backlash and protests – forced Fatoyinbo to temporarily step down from his position as the Senior Pastor at COZA.

Fatoyinbo, however, resumed his position after the heat died down.

Societynow.ng learned the Police formally became involved in the matter based on separate petitions written by the Dakolos and Fatoyinbo.

The Inspector-General of Police Mohammed Adamu ordered the petitions to be harmonized as the matter treated as one in the face of keen public attention.

Societynow.ng learned that as part of investigations into the case Pastor Fatoyinbo was questioned by a team led by Assistant Commissioner of Police Adaku Uche- Anya at the Police Headquarters Abuja.
