“Pls Don’t Die” Gov Ugwuanyi Wails Uncontrollably As 85yrs Old Ex VP Ekwueme Collapses, Goes Into Coma Ahead Nov 18 Anambra Guber Election

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is extremely sad at present.

The Anambra state gubernatorial election is at hand.

It is scheduled for November 18.

One of his main backers and former vice president Alex Ekwueme just collapsed and relapsed into coma.

Information monitored on Punch revealed Ekwueme collapsed Saturday around 2a.m at his Independence Layout, Enugu residence.

He was said to have gone into coma as he presently undergoing care at Memphys Hospital .

Ekwueme’s daughter, Lady Chidi Onyemelukwe is the running to mate of Oseloka Obaze, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the coming governorship election in Anambra state.

The governor was said to have broken down uncontrollably when he visited in coma Ekwueme at Memphys Hospital.

According to Punch’s report, the governor wailed “My namesake, Ifeanyichukwu, do not leave us now! Even if you must go, please wait to see your daughter become the deputy governor of Anambra State before you leave us”.

Checks revealed that the recent incident puts Ekwueme out of commission, a development that is very unfavorable to Ugwuanyi who needs all the support he can muster to ensure the candidate he favours wins the fiercely contested gubernatorial election.

It an open secret that governors now influence the outcome of elections in other States.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state recently publicly backed an Ogun state gubernatorial aspirant who is greatly at odds with sitting governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Ugwuanyi is a PDP governor, his interest is that his party man, Oseloka Obaze becomes the governor of Anambra, a state currently administer by APGA’s Willie Obiano.
