Plans Underway For Otunba Busura Alebiosu’s Grand 90th Birthday In April

Preparations are quietly underway for the 90th birthday of Alhaji Busura Adedeji Alebiosu, a revered elder statesman and political power in Lagos and beyond, particularly Ijebuland.

Sources say the celebration is already attracting the backing of political associates, community leaders, and many who credit Otunba Alebiosu with shaping their careers over decades.

Pa Alebiosu, a senior member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of the Council of Otunbas in Ijebuland, is widely regarded as a mentor whose counsel has influenced generations of politicians.

His 88th and 89th birthdays drew tributes from many, including Lagos lawmakers, who described him as a “destiny helper” whose guidance has been pivotal to many leaders.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo‑Olu hailed him as a “father” whose contributions to governance spanned over four decades.
