Pastors At War Over $1000 “Seed”

Preachers of the word are out for one another over a call for $1000 (one thousand dollars) seed.

Seed is a “gift” given to help the “ministry” progress or to “aid” an individual in need.

The gesture is usually given in the belief that a “bountiful” reward would come the way of the giver one way, or the other.

Most pastors call on members to “embrace” this practice.

But one of such moves by a pastor, Funke Adejumo of the Agape Christian Ministries has landed her in trouble with another Pastor.

Adejumo reportedly called for a seed of $1000 from her members.

Pastor Yomi Kasali, the Senior Pastor at Foundation of Truth Assembly says she doesn’t have a conscience for doing that.

“Does this woman have a conscience?” Pastor Kasali queried in a video that has gone viral.

“You know you are lying” Pastor Kasali followed up in the explosive video and declared “she knows what I am saying is true. If she has ear let her hear, judgment is coming on her very soon”.

The video by Pastor Kasali – obviously while preaching to his congregation – is spreading across social media like wildfire.

The Foundation of Truth Assembly Senior Pastor has insisted preachers demanding for seeds from members is unbiblical.

“We have preachers that are lying daily on the pulpit just to take your money. They come to you that God told you to sow a seed. Which seed are you sowing? Where is it in the Bible? Where?” he stated with heat.

Pastor Kasali labeled those engrossed in the seed seeking practice as “Preachers with dead conscience” and “Liars”.

He quoted 1Timothy 4:2 to back his claims “speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared….”

Christian site, www.gotquestions.org explains “seared conscience” as “If the conscience is “seared”—literally “cauterized”—then it has been rendered insensitive…”

Pastor Kasali insists in the viral video “you cannot be a Christian without a good conscience, the moment you put away your conscience…”

And thundered against also thundered against the $1000 seed request by Pastor Adejumo “asking for a thousand dollars. How can you be lying in the name of God?”

Neither Pastor Adejumo nor her ministry, Agape Christian Ministries has responded to the critical review by Pastor Kasali.

Pastor Kasali began his viral video with the opening line “Christians no longer have conscience, preachers have dead consciences. I was watching the video of a preacher, fleecing members asking for a thousand dollars and I said does this woman have a conscience?…”
