Former wife of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome , Anita, has announced that a High Court of Justice Principal Registry of the Family Division sitting in the UK, has dissolved the marriage between her and the controversial man-of-God.

The dissolution was revealed in a statement by Anita’s lawyer, Attwaters Jameson Hill, on his law chambers’ website.

The statement reads: “We have been requested by Anita Oyakhilome to confirm that on the 8th February 2016 a decree absolute was pronounced in the High Court of Anita Oyakhilome Justice principal Registry of the Family Division dissolving her marriage to Christian Onehirokpeana Oyakhilome.

“Anita Oyakhilome would like to confirm that she is no longer involved in or part of Christ Embassy AKA Believers loveworld inc.”

It would be recalled that Anita, who has dropped Oyakhilome from her name for her maiden name, Ebhodaghe, sought for divorce on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery in a suit filed on her behalf by Hill on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK.
