Oyo First Lady, Florence Ajimobi’s Aide, Lape Beaten, Stripped In An Allegedly Planned Attack By Gov’s Wife

Lape, one of the reportedly closest aides of Florence Ajimobi, the wife of the Governor of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi was recently beaten, stripped and further suffered the indignity of having the episode captured in parts by her assailants.

And governor’s wife is being fingered as the master mind behind the whole disgraceful affair.

How did things get his bad between duo?

Information sourced by societynwng.com on newsbearer, papermacheonline revealed Lape was one of the aides of the Oyo state Governor’s wife sacked for reportedly gossiping about their principal.

She was reportedly ordered to return to her duties in a primary school in the state.

The victim of abuse of influence and authority however made a return to the Governor’s personal home in Oluyole where was beaten and stripped on the strength of an invitation from the first lady.

Lape who is described as the wife of a permanent secretary in the state was reportedly invited by Florence Ajimobi to come account for some funds with her before she was sacked.

According to the information Lape and Florence at the Governor’s house as requested by the state headman’s wife – but in the course of their meeting an altercation ensured.

‘ An argument ensued which attracted a lot of attention and the First Lady was alleged to have ordered her out of the house where she was thoroughly beaten, stripped and disgraced by people who were believed to be party thugs who were carrying out orchestrated errands for the First Lady.’ the report stated

‘her attack looked well planned as she was attacked immediately she stepped out of the house with her assailants stripping her while taking her pictures with their mobile phones.’ the account further detailed Lape’s ordeal.

Added information revealed the move was to allegedly send out a strong warning to Lape and other sacked aides from revealing inside information obtained in the course of their duty.

The governor’s wife was reportedly led to believe Lape had intentions of divulging critical information at her disposal and the public assault meant to bring her to disrepute to void the credibility of such disclosure at any point in time.

In the report Yejide Gbenga-Ogundare one of the aides still in the employment of the Governor’s wife confirmed knowledge of the attack but claimed ‘ The First Lady knew nothing about the attack, on that day she didn’t even see the First Lady… She is the one that knows the problem she had with the politicians who attacked her’
