Emerging details have revealed one of the major reasons Governor of Ogun State Dapo Abiodun is yet to announce his cabinet.

Societynow.ng gathered the ‘’approval’’ Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is part of the delay.

Osinbajo played a vital role in the emergence of Abiodun as the Governor of Ogun State.

And one of the reasons for the Vice President’s support is for Ogun state to serve as his ‘’primary’’ political base.

‘’Osinbajo is trying to put a strong political structure in place in Ogun state and Abiodun is supposed to midwife it beginning with the appointments’’ societynow.ng learned.

The Vice President leads the names of those touted as a possible candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress in the next Presidential election.

Abiodun is currently meandering the political paths that protect the interest of the Vice President without hurting those of others that contributed to his success, including former governors Olusegun Osoba and Gbenga Daniel in effort to announce his cabinet.
