Ogun Guber Aspirant Yayi’s Supporters Campaigning For His Re-Election As Lagos Senator

Very visible Ogun state gubernatorial aspirant, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola is apparently a realist.

Faced with strong opposition from incumbent Governor Ibikunle Amosun that he won’t become the next governor of Ogun state, the politician popularly known as Yayi has a backup plan.

He is said to be retaining an interest in his current position as Lagos West Senator.

Sources confirmed his backers in the senatorial constituency are campaigning for his re-election!.

Those who should know insist the narrative is that he intends to return as a Senator representing Lagos West based on the “bidding” of powers beyond him.

Those who should know claim the attempt is purely a backup plan to turn to should the gubernatorial adventure reach the point of a quick retreat by Yayi and his men.

As an Ogun state gubernatorial aspirant, Yayi is said to have a serious dilemma on whether to decamp from the All Progressives Congress to pursue his ambition or not.

His chances of becoming a candidate for his party – All Progressives Congress – is said to be virtually zero in face of strong opposition against him by Governor Amosun.

Amosun has absolute control of the party structure in Ogun state.

Yayi’s dilemma comes from dumping the APC for another party and not winning the election.
