Ogun Guber 2015… Kashamu, Daniel Woo Away Osoba’s Supporters Ahead Planned Pull Out Of APC!

The political intrigues surrounding the upcoming gubernatorial election in Ogun state is becoming interesting by the day.

Sources confirm the latest twist centres around planned pullout of State leader of All Progressives Congress, Aremo Segun Osoba from the same platform he belongs with the incumbent Governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

Sources claim with speculation he wants to form a party of his own renting the air, the former governor’s supporters have been left pliable to pressures from other political camp.

Sources confirmed pressures on Osoba’s followers are from two major camps, that of influential political figure and immediate past governor of the state Otunba Gbenga Daniel (OGD). And political figure of many coloration, Kashamu Buruji.

Buruji is the face of People’s Democratic Party in ogun state while Daniel remains the power behind the increasing following of Labour Party.

Ironically Gbenga Daniel served as a two term Governor of ogun state on the platform of PDP.

Both Daniel and OGD have a common goal- to oust re election seeking governor, Ibikunle Amosun.

While there are confirmations that the two camps are exploring means to work together to unseat the incumbent- sources confirm they are wooing Osoba’s supporters away (and each other’s as well) with the aim of swelling ranks and possible option of doing it alone.
Aremo Osoba wants to achieve same objective, but wants a candidate of his choice under the platform of APC as successor- the party hierachy provided room for Amosun to seek reelection, hence Osoba’s on going plot to pull out with his loyalists.

Sources equally confirmed Osoba is very much aware of the pilfering of his following and is said to be considering a merger of interest of sort, with the man that unseated him- Gbenga Daniel labelled prefered option.

Further digs revealed the man everybody is striving to send packing, Governor Amosun is equally striving to lure some of his estranged political leader’s supporters with ‘juicy’ pledges and better treatment if re-elected.
