“Not Only Build Infrastructure”, Tinubu Tells Areas Of Focus To Develop Economy

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the 2023 election has identified other areas of focus to develop the economy outside the building of infrastructure.

The leading candidate in the race to determine the next president of Nigeria stated that “as leaders, we must not only build infrastructure and develop our economy but we must also invest in people, capacity development, frameworks for sustainability in leadership and reforms. This will ensure institutions and reforms are sustained beyond the lifecycle of any government for the benefit of all.”

The bridge builder spoke at the Kaduna Investment summit -KADINVEST 7.0 – that was held on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

Tinubu who pointed out that the underlying theme of KADIINVEST 7.O was “sustainable governance and good government are the bedrock upon which resilient economies are built’ applauded the efforts of Governor Malam Nasir El-Rufa in Kaduna State.

“I was also happy to see the development strides the Governor El-Rufai led Kaduna State Government has made by bringing sustainable development in many areas closer to the people of Kaduna. If such can be replicated across various states and the national level, our Nigeria will truly earn its pride of place in the comity of nations.” the frontrunner presidential candidate stated in a post on his outing at the event.
