The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has distanced itself from any ongoing recruitment exercise, warning the public against fraudulent job advertisements.

In a public notice issued by its management, NNPCL made it clear that it is not currently recruiting and urged job seekers to disregard any contrary information.

The company emphasized that any official recruitment announcement would be made only through its website and verified social media platforms.

“NNPC Limited’s recruitment process is transparent, merit-based, and requires no external assistance,” the statement read, signaling a strong stance against fraudulent schemes exploiting its name.

The disclaimer follows a surge in fake recruitment notices circulating online, which have misled unsuspecting job seekers. NNPCL urged the public to stay vigilant and verify information directly from its official channels to avoid falling victim to scams.

Authorities have also been alerted to clamp down on individuals and groups behind these fraudulent activities.
