Niger State Amputee Team, Special Tornadoes Gets Support For More Wins

Chairman of Niger Tornadoes Management Committee, Engineer Ibrahim Dada has assured players and members of the State Amputee Football Club of Minna, popularly known as ‘Special Tornadoes FC’, of his readiness to collaborate and assist the team win more laurels for the state.

Engineer Ibrahim Dada stated this when he received members of the Amputee Football Team who paid him a courtesy visit at the Tornadoes Secretariat, Ministry of Sports Development, Minna.

The Chairman, who described the physically challenged persons as special, said it became necessary to support the team because of the immense contributions they made to the state through football.

Engr. Dada while appreciating them for the visit, reassured that the present leadership of the Tornadoes Management Committee will do everything necessary to carry them along in the scheme of things.

Responding, the leader of the delegation and head of the Physically Challenged Persons, Minna Emirate Council, Adams Garba Igwe, who spoke on behalf of the members, congratulated Engr. Dada on his appointment as the new Chairman of TMC.

Adamu Igwe said the purpose of their visit was to congratulate and commend him for his untiring efforts at rendering support to the state amputee team since it’s establishment in 2017.

They, however, pledged their loyalty and support to the new management towards the overall success of the State Darling Team, Tornadoes fc.
