Ademola Adeleke has been sworn in as the new Governor of Osun state.

The ceremony took place today, Sunday, November 27, 2022. at Osogbo the state capital.

The event attached chieftains of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) across different levels in and out of the party.

Adeleke’s immediate step on the assumption of office was to reverse one of the popular policies of former Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

He was succeeded by immediate past Governor – and party man – Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who served just a single term in office ( 2018 to 2022).
