Musician Yinka Ayefele Ghosted Out N3m Gig That Turned Violent, As Guests & Band Boys Sustain Injuries Over Refusal To Settle Area Boys

Guests and band boys of musician Yinka Ayefele suffered heavy beatings and injuries at a social engagement recently.

The incident transpired at Ijare town in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State.

Revelation available to societynowng.com revealed that the musician was contracted to perform at a burial ceremony and was paid a fee of N3million.

He however ran into trouble waters in the course of his performance with demands from hoodlums known as area boys for ‘settlement’ in order to enjoy a trouble free outing.

Information sourced here and there however revealed that the musician appeared not forth coming.

His band leader was said to have informed the emissaries sent to collect the ‘street fee’ by leader of the gang to hold exercise patience.

Suspecting the musician was attempting a fast one by delaying till he finishes his performance, sources claim the hoodlums mobilized and disrupted the performance manhandling guests and band boys as well as breaking bottles, vandalising chairs, and tables.

Informants divulged that over fifteen people sustained various degrees of injuries in the fracas.

Musician Aiyefele reportedly escaped unhurt.

He was reportedly spirited out of the venue as the venue as the hoodlums arrived.

It is not yet clear what manner of loss the musician sustained as regards musical instruments.
