More About One Of MultiChoice’s Biggest Life Changing Prospects Talent Factory Academy

MutiChoice Africa has recently launched a talent factory academy, which aims to ignite Africa’s Creative industry by giving a 12-month, fully funded educational programme to highly talented individuals who are creative enough to transform the film and television industry in Africa.

One of the biggest prospects of the MultiChoice Talent Factory Academy is that it is going to build capacity of practitioners in the various subfields of the industry. Although the number of candidates for the programme is 20 in West Africa, the ripple effect it will have in the industry will be enormous. These direct beneficiaries would, apart from deploying the lessons they have learned in the academy to their professional roles in the industry, they would also, thereafter, train other practitioners in their circle of influence.

The academy will draw participants from all strata of the industry who are hungry for success and fame and will offer them a major chance of getting out of a mundane lackluster life. It will also offer these participants instant glory and a chance for a better life. The programme will bring immediate fame through its many channels from the build up to the completion of the training exercise, and even afterwards. The inclusion of this programme to their individual profiles will put the participants ahead of their peers who did not take the course and will surely open many doors of opportunities – role contracts, endorsement deals etc. – for them.

Multichoice has over the years demonstrated its leadership in hosting successful reality shows and turning participants into celebrities overnight. This can be attested to by their famous Big Brother Africa (BBA) and the Big Brother Naija (BBN) shows. Many celebrities like Uti Nwachukwu, Karen Igho, Cherise Makubale and Efe Ejeba, Miracle Igbokwe, among others, rose to stardom courtesy of their participation in either the BBA or BBN shows in the past.

Like its other shows, the call for application for participation in the Multichoice Talent Factory Academy is a direct call for interested practitioners and prospective filmmakers in Africa to proficiency and stardom in the chosen fields of filmmaking.

The West African Regional Academy in Lagos will play host to the talented young persons who will be selected form the millions of applications across Africa; and the year-long training will begin on Monday, October 1st, 2018

Entries for the Multichoice Academy close 6pm on 5 July 2018. All aspiring young film & TV creatives can submit their entries on www.multichoicetalentfactor y.com before the Thursday, 05 July 2018 deadline.
