Meet Yemisi Edun, The Touted Replacement For Embattled FCMB M.D Adam Nuhu

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) is believed to have announced a replacement for troubled Managing Director Adam Nuhu.

The new bank boss – in an acting capacity – is said to be Yemi Edun.

According to the information available, Yemisi Edun was the immediate past Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, a role she held after serving in various capacities in the bank since joining in 2000.

She is a veteran in the financial space with experience spanning over three decades, joining the bank from Akintola Williams Deloitte. She is an alumna of OAU and University of Liverpool, United Kingdom where she bagged a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Chemistry and Accounting respectively.

Sources claim the choice of Edun as Nuhu’s replacement is still within the confines of the FCMB.

Regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank, are yet to be informed.

Troubled Nuru has embarked on a “forced leave” to allow for proper investigation into the paternity mess that is afflicting his world.

The troubled Bank boss is alleged to have fathered the two children of Moyo Thomas, while she was an employee of the bank.

Claims that this revelation resulted in the death of Moyo’s husband,Tunde resulted in a major scandal with over one thousand people petitioning for the removal of Nuru as FCMB’s M.D.
