Loose Lips!.. Sunday Igboho Scuttles Fragile Peace With Gov Makinde Within 48hrs

Sunday Igboho, the new face of agitation against herdsmen crisis in Southwest Nigeria has scuttled the fragile peace stakeholders perfected between him and Governor Seyi Makinde.

Elders who want Igboho – real name Sunday Adeyemo – to secure the support of the elites and more serious recognition from the government prevailed on the new hero of the war against criminals masquerading as herdsmen to adopt a more moderate approach in his public speaking – do away with the abuses.

Igboho who constantly abused Governor Makinde over rewards helping him win the 2019 gubernatorial election in Oyo took the advice.

Igboho is a resident and native of Oyo State and known “political enforcer” before his sudden fame as an “activist”.

“He even commended the Governor on matters of security in his first public outing after adopting the advice of the elders” societynow.ng learned.

But less than 48hrs later, in a zoom meeting Igboho lashed out at Makinde in an attack on the Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyemi Ogunwusi and a powerful politician Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

According to a report monitored by societynow.ng on punchng.com Igboho labeled “described Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife; Bola Tinubu, APC national leader, and Seyi Makinde, Oyo state governor, as Fulani slaves.”

The punchng.com reports that Igboho made the uncomplimentary remark against the leading players in affairs of Southwest at virtual ‘Townhall With Yoruba In Diaspora’.

The report has attracted widespread criticism against Igboho for his loose lips and lack of tact in handling the sensitive security issue that has given him sudden fame.
