Leave Kemi Alone – Former Finance Minister Adeosun Posts Cryptic Message
has remained distant from the Nigerian political scene
Former Nigerian Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, has shared a cryptic message on social media.
The message is an emblem on a T-shirt that reads: “Leave Kemi Alone.”
The 57-year-old, who assumed office as Nigeria’s finance minister on November 11, 2015, and resigned on September 14, 2018, amidst allegations of a forged National Youth Service Corps certificate, posted the message on her social media handle on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
She accompanied the image with a caption that reads:

“I’m staying out of trouble. My Nigeria experience, like life itself, has been varied, but in everything and at all times, I am grateful to God.
As 2025 beckons, I look for reasons to be thankful.

After resigning as Nigeria’s finance minister, Adeosun returned to London, England, where she was born and spent a significant part of her life.
She has remained distant from the Nigerian political scene since then.
