Kogi Deputy Gov Onoja Reveals Gov Yahaya Bello’s Role In Akeredolu’s ‘’Emerging Victory’’ In Ondo Guber Election

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja has revealed the role of Governor Yahaya Bello in the ‘’emerging victory’’ of re-election seeking Governor Rotimi Akeredolu in the Ondo State.

The Ondo state gubernatorial election held yesterday, Saturday October 10,2020 and Akeredolu maintains a clear lead based on the numbers of votes announced so far as counting continues.

Onoja, the Deputy Governor of Kogi state in a short statement says Governor Bello’s contribution to Aeredolu’s re-election efforts has earned him the tag ‘’Omo Ni Bello’’ which his statement interprets as ‘’Bello is a worthy son’’.

Onoja titles the statement ‘’ Ondo 2020: ‘Omo Ni Bello’ Slogan Trending Online As APC Maintains Clear Lead’’.

Many social media users, especially APC members across the country are giving Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state accolades as Akeredolu leading in Ondo 2020 governorship election.

The cliché ‘Omo Ni Bello’ (Bello is a worthy son) is now trending on Facebook and twitter to acknowledge support of Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello for APC and Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu in the ongoing poll.

Bello as part of his commitment to the party and solidarity with Akeredolu devoted time, energy and logistics to ensure APC victory in the election.

The Governor apart from mobilizing Kogi indigenes across Ondo state to vote in en masse for Akeredolu throughout the week. He also joined also Progressive Governors to perfect winning strategy for the party despite strong opposition from PDP and ZLP.

Yahaya Bello has become of formidable force in APC political machinery as he offered support for Akeredolu to win his first term and Fayemi during Ekiti 2018 governorship election.

No doubt, ‘Omo Ni Bello’ and he continue to play prominent role towards strengthen APC structure across the country.
