Kidnapped Aspirant Wins Reps Ticket

A kidnapped victim has won the House of Representatives ticket of his party – despite remaining captive.
Sadiq Ango – Abdullahi won the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) ticket for the Sabon Gar Federal Constituency, Kaduna State.
The kidnapped victim polled 28 votes against his closest rival’s six votes.
The winner is one of the victims of March 2022’s Kaduna train attack.
He is also the son f Ango Abdullahi, the convener of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF).
