“Fever pitches, intense drama and pitched battles”, are some of the words that come to mind as Flawsome S2 continues to deliver doses of drama with its latest episode. The catch — all the ladies are feeling the heat!  Episode 4 had Ivie and Ramat fight, and then makeup, with Dolapo, while episode 5 threw curveballs at them.

Will they catch a break? Let’s dive into all the juicy and emotional moments from both episodes!

Ivie and Ramat Lash out at Dolapo

Ivie finds herself in a fix on social media when a more popular designer takes credit for her design. She turns to Dolapo for help, but Dolapo is preoccupied with a client’s PR crisis. Tensions boil over at a paint-and-sip hangout in episode 4 when Ivie demands Dolapo’s attention. During this confrontation, Ramat reveals that Dolapo is meddling in her marriage, adding fuel to the fire. However, true friends always find their way back to each other, and Dolapo deserves credit for fixing Ivie’s situation, handling her work crisis and apologising to Ramat.

Ramat and Uduak are…making up?

Despite their rocky relationship, Ramat and Uduak’s marriage seems to be on the mend. Episode 4 sees them visiting the hospital together, and the way Uduak looks at Ramat while she takes notes. Hmm, could this be love?

Sedi should rest

Sedi’s arrival was unexpected but her behaviour in the fifth episode raises eyebrows when she uses her pregnancy as an excuse to avoid cleaning. Dolapo finds herself dealing with Folarin’s mess alone, taking care of his soon-to-be baby mama while dealing with problems at work. Pregnancy is not easy and we would have understood if she hadn’t made the side comment: “Some people think they’re wise when they’re not.” Girl, go home!

The ladies face trouble at work

The audacity of the men in Episode 5! Efosa Mensa, the thorn in Ramat’s flesh and the new liaison from Global Aid Alliance, challenges Ramat’s way of working with his condescending demeanour. While he may have valid criticisms, his lack of manners irritates Ramat.

Meanwhile, Dolapo loses out on a big opportunity for Honourable Attah, when she faces a dangerous situation involving a sleazy politician who tries to exploit her during a work meeting in his hotel room. Quick thinking and a taser save her from potential assault, but the encounter leaves her in a tough spot with Abdul. As for Ranti sending those flowers, his punishment is on the way.

It’s from frying pan to fire for dear Ivie. Ivie’s success brings its own set of challenges as she struggles to keep up with the demand. With orders getting mixed up and her landlord breathing down her neck. Ivie needs to find a way to manage her business effectively before it’s too late.

Should we be worried about Ifeyinwa?

Ifeyinwa’s downward spiral continues, with her drinking problem escalating in episode five. While drunk-calling Clark and introducing him to her hallucination of her dead mother is not a good look, he takes it in good stride and takes care of Ifeyinwa. Meanwhile, Timi’s ulterior motive is obvious to the viewers. We see it for what it is: a silly ploy to get Ifeyinwa to agree with his choice of candidate. Hopefully, Ifeyinwa ‘clocks’ his nonsense.

It has been a wild ride and it does not look like the drama will let up, not that we want it to! What will Dolapo do about Sedi? How will Ivie navigate this new challenge? Will Uduak and Ramat get back together for real? Again, should we be worried about Ifeyinwa?
