Ex-Delta State Governor, James Ibori is unrelenting in cementing his integration into High society.

He took the step further with attendance at the quiet birthday party of ex-governor Gbenga Daniel.

Both Ibori and Daniel are members of the People’s Democratic Party- as well as former governors on the platform of the political party.

However Daniel, unlike Ibori did not suffer conviction and jail term for corrupt enrichment.

Ibori returned to the country February 2017 after spending about six years in a United Kingdom prison.

Since his return to a hero’s welcome by his people – of Oghara, Delta state- Ibori has refused to let his ordeal defined him.

He has embarked on a strong reintegration drive into high society with attendance at very high profile events and association with economic and political leaders.

He was a prominent feature at celebrated engagements such as the Senate President’s wedding for his daughter, at the lavish birthday of billionaire Razaq Okoya, the wedding of Orji Uzokalu’s daughter, as well as the close-knit, but grand marriage ceremony Vice President Osinbajo staged for his child.

Obviously, Ibori is unrelenting in his push to cement acceptance into high society and drowning his past with recent actions.

He showed this with attendance at the private birthday bash former governor Daniel staged at his Lagos home on Friday.

Ibori was one of the limited honored guests at the event which held at Maryland abode of the former Ogun governor.
