Lateef Kayode Jakande, the first civilian Governor of Lagos State has been buried.
He was buried today, Friday, February 12, 2020.
The burial of the barometer of good governance in Lagos State, and beyond, come twenty-four (24) hours after his demise.
The late Jakande, a recognized journalist of his time, is widely celebrated for his austere lifestyle and enduring legacies as Governor of Lagos State and Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
