“It Wasn’t A Blaze, Just A Spark!”…How Federal Civil Service Secretariat “Fire” Started

Fresh details have revealed the cause of the fire that ravaged the Federal Civil service secretariat in Abuja Saturday morning.

The fire which occurred at the buildings housing the ministry of health was reportedly sparked off by an “electrical spark”.

This revelation was made by Felix Ogenyi, the Director of General services – ministry of health – in a chat with the media.

Ogenyi claimed there was no damage, no office files were affected and there was no loss of human lives.

The Director specifically stated “The fire wasn’t a blaze. It was just a little fire spark on the third floor of the Ministry. Immediately we saw the electrical fire spark, the Fire Service was called in and the fire was put out immediately,” he said.

“The fire was just at the corridor of the third floor. No office files were affected. There was no damage and there was no loss of human lives.”
