Islamic Extremists Wreck Havoc On Family Of 6 For Converting To Christianity

Islamic extremists have wreaked havoc on a family of six in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The reason?

The family made of a coupe and their four children were attacked for converting to Christianity.

The extremist group which is known as Yumba reportedly attacked a mother of four Akerele Modinat Omotunde, her four children and husband on January 18, 2017, after warnings to renounce their new faith.

Societynow.ng learned the attack which was carried out at about 3 p.m left the shop – and means of livelihood – of the Akerele family in ruins.

Distressed Modinat – the wife and mother of four – confirmed the development in a short interview.

Modinat expressed fear the family lives in fear there may still be more to come because threats had been issued of series of attacks to befall the family if they do not revert to their former faith – Islam.

Societynow.ng learned no arrest has been made as neighbors insist the attackers were “unknown” for fear of the repercussion of becoming “involved”.
