International Fugitive Kashamu Buruji Lobbies Hard As Court Fixes May 27 To Rule On Extradition Case

International fugitive, Kashamu Buruji is set to find out whether the court would protect him from extradition to face indictment for drug related offences in the United States of America or not on May 27.

The business man turned politician had scampered to a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos to seek protection from an alleged plot to abduct him to the United States of America to answer for alleged crimes.

The embattled politician had listed all organs of government that deals on security issues likely to bring him to justice as respondents in the case.

Some of the security institutions he wants the court to order to let him be includes, the Nigeria Police, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Department of States Service, Nigerian Custom Service, Nigerian Immigration Service and others. Kashamu Buruji

All the agencies argued for the court to dismiss the case brought by Kashamu.
The move was reportedly consequent on failed efforts to secure ‘political solution’ to his predicament.

The Politician who despite his status as a wanted man abroad went on to win election as Senator elect had earlier attempted to perfect a pact that would protect him from extradition from promoters of incoming government at the Federal.

Insiders disclosed with the date fixed for the ruling that would go a long way in determining his fate and future, the troubled politician has thrown away any form of pretence at saving and initiated intense underground lobbying perceived enemies and foes at making another go at political solution.

Despite open spat with All Progressives Congress leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu sources claimed Kasahmu and his handlers are hard at work trying to get him to provide a bailout of sort from the stifling predicament should the ruling comes out unfavourable.
