Findings however revealed there is a raging conflict amongst his supporters as lawyers move to secure his freedom. Dokpesi
Information available traced the conflict to dual statements issued explaining how he came about the N2.1b that earned him detention by anti graft agency, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The management of Daar Communication had initially claimed the fund was for campaign adverts ran with the station during electioneering period – before his family issued a counter statement labelling the fund for ‘’private business’’.
Societynowng.com learnt behind the twin move to lay claim to ownership of the questionable funds by the two parties, even as their principal undergoes prosecution is the genesis of the conflict.
The management of Daar Communications is irked with the disclosure of the fund attributed to their founder, in the face of mounting debts – and believe truly it is payment for services rendered by the station.
The quick press release labeling the fund as such was a powerful subtle move to force it back to the coffers of the organisation – and ultimately utilised it to offset backlog of debts hanging on its neck.
The counter move by the family naturally sparked off resentment in a camp that ought to be unified in bailing out it’s ‘’leader’’.

‘’but they can’t out rightly engage each other…but there is a lack of trust’’ a source claimed.
Side talks here and there at Daar Communication over the issue are labelled pointer to this raging scenario.
Sources claim even as lawyers battle to perfect the bail conditions given to the embattled Nigerian, the camps at war are already quietly exploring means to out play one another in the on going cat and mouse game that has pitched them on different sides in the same house.
