Inside The “Money Problem” That Is Stalling Completion Of Tinubu’s Favorite MC Oluomo’s Hotel Project

The details available to societynow.ng revealed that popularity and the pressure to live up to expectation as ‘’generous giver’’ is hurting transport Union Boss Musiliu Akinsanya more popularly known as MC Oluomo.

Insiders disclosed to societynow.ng that the earnings of MC Oluomo are finding it hard to meet up with the responsibilities the status of the cheerful giver has entrusted on him.

And this is said to be greatly affecting his personal projects.

Societynow.ng learned directly affected is Oluomo’s undergoing construction hotel situated in the heart of Oshodi.

Insiders disclosed that the big player in the Lagos state chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers has been on the project for almost three (3) years.

‘’It is hard to believe that a man who doles out millions of naira as gifts weekly is finding it hard to complete a project that is best described as a moderate one compared to his perception as a deep pocket and what those who are lower in rank to him in the union have put up’’ a source stated,

Oluomo is the state Treasurer of the NURTW in Lagos state.

According to the ranking of the union, the Treasurer comes directly after the chairman in influence and benefits, the other position that comes near the two is the office of the Auditor.

44years old Oluomo has been the Treasurer of the Lagos state NURTW for the past twelve (12) years.

‘’If not for his lavish spending and massive handouts in the bid to sustain his popularity, he would have been one of the wealthiest guys around because he has been a branch chairman for a longer period of time’’ a source stated.

Societynow.ng learned that the accumulated earnings of branch chairmen, especially in plum locations like Oshodi effortlessly hit the N20million mark per week.

But, obviously, most of the money that came MC Oluomo’s way got frittered away trying to impress the society – and luxuriating in his whims.

Oluomo is the delight of many actresses and society ladies who are very discreet in their ‘’rapport’’ with him.

He reportedly once staged a birthday party – though he denied it – ladies were offered money to attend braless.

Sources claim the transport union boss openly known to be a favorite street muscle of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu – based on closeness to another transport unionist Mustapha ‘’Seego’’ Adekunle – is now trying to put in place a solid foundation to fall back on with the acquisition of property and investment in businesses like the undergoing construction hotel

Societynow.ng, however, gathered that contrary to urgings of those close to him Oluomo doesn’t want to cut down on his spending to achieve this objective.

‘’That is what is stalling the hotel project for example. He doesn’t want people to say he is broke if cuts down on his spending but the cheerful giver thing is really hurting his finances and plan for the future’’ a source pointed out.
