On May 31, 2019, Peter Amango’s tenure as the Chief Executive Officer at Zenith Bank ended.

He spent five years on the seat in a career that clocked 27years at the time.

In September 2020, Amangbo was named the chairman Board of Directors of the new Globus Bank.

Amangbo retains his position at the new bank that describes itself as “a full-fledged commercial bank leveraging technology, people and service to deliver an endearing customer experience.”

The checks by SocietyNow.Ng revealed that aside from taking up new responsibility at the bank which disclosed it has 16 physical structures – with the plan to establish more – Amangbo’s has not recorded any significant change in his approach to professional life, especially as it regards visibility. He stays away from public attention. He has stuck to the same style at his new place of work” SocietyNow.Ng.

Further checks by SocietyNow.Ng revealed a lack of noticeable digital footprints since he left Zenith Bank in May 2019.

And very telling is the revelation that the Chairman of the Globus Bank still doesn’t have a profile on one of the most popular resource places, Wikipedia.

Added digs, however, revealed that the holder of Bachelor of Engineering (University of Benin) and MBA Business Administration (University of Warwick – Warwick Business School) is on “LinkedIn” where he makes far and in-between occasional comments on posts.

But he retains a tight lid on his social life, just like he operated when he was at Zenith.

Those who are familiar with how Amangbo operates insist behind the cloak of “anonymity” is a tireless worker who never rests until he gets desired resulted.
