On the heels of a series of unflattering incidences at social engagements, those who are very particular about the standing of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi have decided to act.

Inside information has it that pressure is on for a review of the structure that guides how things are done in his palace.

Those who should know disclosed that the structure is also supposed to take care of his public appearances including conduct in open spaces to prevent things like the viral video with Governor Ademola Adeleke.

“There are supposed to be people who vet where he goes and when he does, shield him from certain things. That is why pressure is on to review the current arrangement of things at the palace and put in place a more effective structure” according to insiders.

Added information has it attempts were made in the past to correct the “lapses” but the episode with the Osun state Governor has made them to become more intentional.

The incident with Governor Adeleke is the latest in a trail of related happenstances that continue to attract outcry from custodians and lovers of the yoruba culture and tradition as regards falling standards.
