Femi Aderibigbe, the entertainment industry great otherwise known as Kwame has reminded all what a great guy the late Sammie Okposo was.

Okposo, 51, slumped and died on Friday, November 25, 2022.

The death of the “welu-welu” singer continues to attract all shades of comments and reports.

Kwame the legendary voice on OGBC2 FM and later a frontline person at Star FM before transforming into the power behind Virtual Media Network Limited, the owners and operators of premium media brands Nigezie, Orisun, Prime! and TEN, however, sided with the very best of the departed.

“Rest in peace Sammy my guy!

To say that this is shocking news is an understatement!

You were a great guy, no matter what anyone thinks or says about you.

My first trip to South Africa was for your event back in the day, and you were such an incredible host.

You had Lara George, Samsong, the late Keffee, Kunle Ayo and many other talented acts on the bill and we all had massive fun.

We had a special phrase, “I like the kind life wey u dey live o!”, which we used always. 

Only the two of us understood its origin, and it became our official hailing lingo, each time we met or talked on the phone.

A gospel singer, music producer, psalmist, and entertainment consultant, Okposo started as a Sound Track producer in the movie industry in 1992 before he switched to singing SocietyNow.Ng gathered.

The late singer released his first album, “Unconditional Love”, with the hit single “Welu-Welu” in 2000. He was arguably one of the most decorated gospel singer of his era.
