I60 Graduates Of “Model School” To Get N100K Startup Funds Each From Gov Sule

after receiving training in different vocational skills.

Nasarawa State Governor, His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has reiterated the resolve of his administration to continue to prioritise the empowerment of women and youths in order to make them active players in the economic development of the State.

Engr. Sule stated the position of his administration while attending the First Graduation Ceremony of the 2nd Chance Model School, held in Kurmin Tagwaye, in Akwanga, headquarters of Akwanga Local Government Area.

With One hundred and sixty (160) students graduating after receiving training in different vocational skills.

Commending the management of the school for imparting basic skills to the women in the state, with a view to eradicating poverty, creating wealth and employment generation for the socio-economic development.

Each graduate of the school which is the first of its kind in Nigeria, is expected to receive a start up support of one hundred thousand naira (100,000) from the Nasarawa State Government.
