“I Remain Totally Loyal” Tourism Wave Maker, Folly Coker Asserts

Man who took Lagos tourism to never before seen plateau of success while he reigned, Folorunsho Folarin Coker insists he remains “Totally Loyal”.
The friend of many who championed refreshingly new perception for the state with his ‘’Love Lagos’’ concept was the commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture.
He exited the cabinet of Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode along with two others, Dr Mustapha Akinkunmi ( Finance) and Ekundayo Mobereola (Transport) in a minor cabinet reshuffle yesterday.
No reason was given for the cabinet shake up that resulted in the exit of the man changing the face of tourism in the centre of excellence.

And even the week he left office, the state caught international attention and opened another tourism chapter with a CNN feature of Scuba Diving in the ‘’Virgin’’ Waters of Lagos.

And true to type the connected socialite who severally insisted his major focus was his job while in office asserts ‘’He remains totally loyal’’ to the governor of Lagos state and his party, the All Progressives congress.
The tourism wave maker made the assertion in a report monitored on national publication, Punch.
Mr Coker was reacting to enquiry from the punch on his exit from the cabinet of Lagos state.
He reportedly stated specifically in a text message response that ‘’ Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is my leade and boss..he is also a close friend; there was no clash between us.’’
His reaction featured on punch is reproduced in full
“Governor Akinwunmi Ambode is my leader and boss. He is a visionary leader and he understands what Lagos needs best. He is also a close friend; there was no clash between us. Lagos needs to move at an accelerating pace and my time to depart just happened to be today. I remain totally loyal to him and the party.
