“It is our resolve to provide leadership with human face,”
The Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara insists he is determined to protect and defend the interest of Rivers state no matter the situation.
The Rivers state Governor expressed his determination during a courtesy visit by members of the f the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Rivers State chapter.
The visit by IPAC members to Fubara who is engulfed in a supremacy battle with FCT Minister Nyesom Wike was on Monday, April 8. 2024.
“Today I received in audience members of the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, Rivers State chapter and assured them of my administration’s determination to continue to protect and defend the interest of Rivers State no matter the situation.” Fubara posted on social media after the visit.
“It is our resolve to provide leadership with human face, and ensure that our State will be first in all consideration.
I also appreciate IPAC members for the confidence they reposed in our administration to sustain peace and development in Rivers State.” the Governor added.
Fubara is facing an intense onslaught from Wike who helped him to power and is alleged to be at the heart of moves to unseat the Governor.
Wike the immediate past two-term Governor of Rivers State “single-handedly” got Fubara elected as his successor.
