How Your Community Can Benefit From MTN’s What Can We Do Together
in improving the quality of lives
Becoming a beacon of hope may be easier than you think. There are simple actions you can take that will leave significant marks in the lives of people. For MTN Foundation, it is impacting more than 530 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in Nigeria through its What Can We Do Together (WCWDT) initiative.
With the launch of the fifth phase of the initiative, the Foundation plans to do more. It is expected that more communities across Nigeria will benefit from the provision of basic amenities such as Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) equipped with solar powered boreholes.
You too can partner with MTN Foundation in improving the quality of lives of thousands of Nigerians. Here’s how!
- Nominate your community:
The first step to getting involved with the initiative is to nominate your community for consideration. You can nominate your community by visiting the MTN Foundation website and filling out the nomination form. By nominating your community, you are giving it the chance to enjoy one of the 40 Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs) MTN will be revamping in the fifth phase of the WCWDT campaign.
- Spread the word:
Another way to contribute is by spreading the word about it. You can share information about the initiative on social media platforms, talk to your friends and family about it, or even organize community meetings to raise awareness about the initiative.
- Participate in community projects:
Finally, you can contribute to the initiative by participating in community projects. The initiative is aimed at fostering grassroots community development via cooperative effort. By participating in community projects, you are not only contributing to the development of your community, but you are also helping to create a sense of unity and cooperation among community members.
To nominate your community for the fifth phase of the WCWDT campaign, text MTN to 421, and respond to subsequent questions free of charge (for MTN subscribers) or visit www.mtn.ng/wcwdt to get started.
