Musiliu Obanikoro, the former minister of the federal republic of Nigeria is one of the heavy losers in the process that resulted in the appointment of commissioners for Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Insiders disclosed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu gave Obanikoro – who recently defected from the rival People’s Democratic Party – two slots to in the list of the recently appointed Commissioners and Special Advisers.

Insiders disclosed that high-level politicking aimed at cutting the growing influence of Obanikoro resulted in the rejection of his candidates by the Lagos State House of Assembly.
